acquires a Cypriot Water Company
As of 19th of July 2019 United Global Water Holdings Limited (UGWH) has signed a contract to acquire a water company based in Cyprus in form of an asset deal. This is one of the latest acquisitions by UGWH, in line with the Group’s plan to further diversify its portfolio and business possibilities.
The acquisition of the Cypriot water company, proves to be yet another major footprint in UGWH’s expansion strategy. The acquired company has its own spring water source, which is highly profitable and consists of a team of 10-14 skilled professionals. Both, the water sources and the company are located in Cyprus, have a strong presence in the local market and are geographically well located for international distribution.
On the other hand, this can be recognized as a contribution of immediate cash flow to the Group. The wealth of experience of the Cypriot water company combined with the market resource and management available through UGWH, will help the company grow globally and continue to provide an excellent end product to its customers.
